Data Deletion

🗑️ Delete Account & Data – In-App Flow (Habitoff)

Step 1: Delete Account

1. Open the Habitoff app and go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
   
   

2. A confirmation popup appears:
   
   

Header: Delete Account
Message:

This action cannot be undone!
• All your habit data will be permanently deleted
• Your progress and streaks will be lost
• This action cannot be reversed

Options:

• Cancel (secondary)
  
  

• Continue (red primary button)
  
  

Step 2: Final Confirmation (Optional Safeguard)

If you enable a second confirmation step, show:

Header: Are you sure?
Message:

Once deleted, your data cannot be restored. Do you want to continue?

Options:

• No, Keep My Account
  
  

• Yes, Delete Permanently
  
  

Step 3: Deletion & Success Screen

After confirming deletion:

Header: Account Deleted
Message:

Your account and all related data have been permanently deleted from Habitoff.
Backup copies, if any, are automatically removed within 30–90 days per retention policy.

Button: Return to Home – redirects to the onboarding/welcome screen.
